D.E. wanted to create an entertainment room in their unfinished basement.  Sectional seating defines the media area with a raised electric fireplace, concealed home theater system and built-ins for game and media storage. A wet bar area with cabinet refrigerator and small dishwasher were located near the homeowner’s existing stone patio table/chairs that share both eating and game playing functions. The laundry room was expanded with efficient storage and work space. A full bath, with walk-in shower, was placed adjacent to a new closet area with space for luggage packing and storage. Sufficient hidden storage for Christmas décor and place for cat litter boxes and toys was included in the plan. The homeowner’s existing Asian style armoire was used for additional game and media storage.
